Waiting...

Waiting eagerly for the calm to return.
For it to engulf us in its security.
In a tight embrace, dispersing any doubts
or sickness.

Waiting for the Earth to finish healing itself.
And give us another chance.
For the darkness to be lifted from our lives
Letting in sunlight.

Waiting to breathe again without the masks.
Travel again without fear.
Hug a loved one, shake hands with a firm grip.
Waiting patiently for life to return, as we knew it.

New Year Wishes

May the New Year bring rays of sunshine in your life...

Bright enough to make you shine like the silver mountains in the distance.

May your future be as  brilliant as the shimmering snow, capping the peaks.

May you glow with health and be as strong as the mountain range itself.

May hope glimmer in your eyes like the vast expanse of blue sky.

May the sadness, if any, in your heart, be lifted like fog by beaming smiles of loved ones.

May you always cry tears of joy and laugh in the face of adversity.

May you be good, do good, see good and inspire goodness in all.

The Setting Sun

The Sun sets behind the mountains, wrapping up a whole year, a decade. Taking with it countless breaths of people, their efforts to survive, their love their joy. Their pain their loss.
Like an angel's halo, the ring of light above it promising a new day, a new era, when it rises again the next day. Piercing, dispelling darkness. Rising to give new meaning to existence. For new beginnings.

The Healer

Why  the roller coaster of emotions?
Highs and lows, hugs and blows.
One day lovestruck and taken,
Next day completely heartbroken.

Is it actually someone else's doing?
Or one's inner battles.
Neglecting our own consciousness,
Letting others rip it to tatters.

Would it happen if we loved our souls more?
Than the one's who is breaking it.
Expecting others to make you better,
When you are your own best healer.

Life

There is more to life than pleasure and pain.
The universe is out there for experiences to be gained.

Life needs to flow like a fresh water river.
Emotional stagnation shouldn't stop it ever.

Armed with armour of knowledge and love.
Explore the world and rise above.

For life is not only about  personal happiness,
It's  about  what is our role in the world and usefulness.

The Rain

The rain drenches that part of the heart which had been lying barren in all the other seasons.

Like a bird, it soars to touch the limitlessness of the sky, to gather wind in its  feathers.

The sound of pouring rain births that piece of the jigsaw puzzle, which had been missing in all the other seasons.

Filling the void, painting the big picture, completing the circle of life.
